Over 85,000 LED lights lit up one of the largest event venues in Central London as guests flocked to the QEII Conference Centre. Area 51 and event theme partners Event-Trees were asked to provide a dazzling ‘illumination’ themed event that would showcase the versatility of networking suites at the QEII Conference Centre, London, for the venues potential clients.

London’s prestigious party venue, 8 Northumberland Avenue, start planning Christmas a year ahead. Setting aside traditional festive themes, they asked for splendour on an oceanic scale - the myth of Atlantis was to be brought alive. The spirit of the Lost Sunken City rose again thanks to the workshop wizardry and rigging skills of Area 51.

There’s nothing abominable about Area 51’s Legendary Yeti and our infamous snow explorers: Our giant cuddly Rock Star has travelled the World – even starring in a DVD by glam-pop stars Scissor Sisters who he performed with on tour and at London’s Royal Albert Hall, partnered with our snow explorers kicking up a storm.

An enchantingly surreal circus show. Our dreamwalker climbs into bed and slips into slumber, where strange and alluring characters drift through his imagination; some are sweet dreams, some are nightmares! In the playground of the mind we witness beautiful and bizarre figures led by Hypnos and Thanatos.
