AREA 51 brought all the fun of the fair to a famous stadium venue by staging a brilliant Christmas circus inside it!

Complete with stunning décor and props, the event at the Ricoh Arena on the outskirts of Coventry featured a full programme of entertainment for a run of dates.

A program of events included meet and greet characters such as living Christmas trees and stunning ice maidens and the main event featured a specially choreographed circus performed entirely in the round.

Playing out to a dramatic soundtrack over dinner and including a skilful mix of acts lead by the charismatic ringmaster, Luke D’Silva.

An aerial silks show and mesmerising flag poi segued into an LED staff and spinning routine. Sequences of contortion and hand balance were followed up by a spectacular fire finale.

Area 51’s design and build team was also involved, creating classy black and gold themed décor for the event. A giant Christmas tree decorated with giant baubles provided a festive touch, with the same colour scheme featured on table displays throughout the room. And huge 4 metre globes were used to decorate the space above the tables.

Area 51 also provided the amazing DC Fontana, a ten-piece band with a brass section and featuring guest vocals from the legendary 60s and 70s chart star Don Fardon to finish the night in style.
