POST-PANDEMIC punters saw Mercury rising as one of rock music’s most flam-buoyant icons took the stage again…..and high above it!
In a staggering festive show experience, Queen’s Freddie Mercury was seen as never before!
Open mouthed revellers gasped at a special Christmas show that combined a stunning Queen musical tribute with amazing circus performances as an international Freddie impersonator literally managed to “break free” as he sang under pressure while accomplishing a slew of distinctive daredevil feats.
The globally acclaimed Mexican artist Rodrigo Adame jetted in from Mexico to star in the show which ran throughout December at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre in Warwickshire. But as well as belting out all the hits of the rock giants, Rodrigo managed to do it while performing acrobatics, riding a giant steel wheel across the stage and also while appearing to fly over it.
In a spectacular event put together by Area 51 in conjunction with the Heart of England Centre, the high-impact show also featured choreographed circus performances, dancers and elements of fire together with a great light show.
Aptly entitled “The Snow Must Go On”, this brilliant fusion of music, cabaret and circus was the latest in a series of Yuletide events staged by Area 51 at the Heart of England and marked the return of the sell-out series following the pandemic shutdown.
