A GLITZY British awards ceremony was given a splash of vivid, samba colour as Rio carnival drummers, dancers and gymnasts created a tropical party atmosphere in central London.
Area 51’s fervid Rio Carnival show rolled into town to keep guests entertained at the highflying business event in the UK capital with an array of colourful performers taking part.
The annual Gala Awards Dinner happening was staged at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel to honour the achievements of Palletforce members with more than 450 guests present.
And among the performers on show were dancers displaying incredible Rio carnival costumes, samba drummers, roller skating gymnasts, limbo experts, contortionists and acrobats, all delivering an on-point explosion of colour and rhythm to transform the London hotel setting into a scene from Rio de Janeiro’s bustling carnival-infused streets.
