A detachment of 51 Area 51 performers (!) withstood everything that Mother Nature could chuck in their direction to emerge muddied and euphoric after three days and four nights of badass shows and partying!
This year Igor Rasputin and his Caravan Of Lost Souls enjoyed a monstrously rockin’ reception with the exceptional Evelyn Frantti and Jojo Bones, Luke da Silva, psychic Simret together with Klas Tacer, Bill Brookman, Pippin Willow Wood, Jonas, Gary Smiler, Jo Tilley, Ryan and Jack Page.
As well as providing walkabout characters in a wide range of guises from steampunks to Area 51’s highly-acclaimed VoodooGeddon troupe plus the fun inclusion of the KiSS bigheads, stiltwalkers and fire performers on stage, the 51 team pulled out all the stops to produce an action-packed and back-breaking schedule of performance art at its wildest.
Among the cavalcade of bands who appeared were Slipknot, Muse, Kiss, Marilyn Manson, Judas Priest, Faith No More, Motley Crue, Five Finger Death Punch, Slash, Billy Idol, A Day To Remember, Clutch, Black Stone Cherry, Thunder, Enter Shikari and many more.
