DYNAMO’S DASH OF TIKI IN DUBAI
After a riotously successful performance of Somnambu at Dubai’s World-famous Atlantis Hotel, the Area 51 think-tank had to serve up something really special 12 months later to stay fresh and innovative. And so was born Tiki - a brand new circus devised, produced and directed by Area 51’s Matt Page. It seemed like the perfect place to try out the new presentation! The Ahlan ball is one of the biggest nights on the Middle East’s celebrity calendar and demanded something special.

The Ahlan ball is one of the biggest nights on the Middle East’s celebrity calendar and demanded something special.
Red carpet glamour together with exquisite dining provided the perfect backdrop – and in an amazing scoop Area 51 had an extra-special cast member, the world-renowned magician, Dynamo!
TIKI features a Polynesian–flavoured voyage of discovery, with incredibly detailed costume, fabulous make-up by the incredibly talented Emma Fay, a powerful drum-driven soundtrack and topped with a tribal themed contemporary performance.
Cyr Wheel artist and fellow Britain’s Got Talent finalist Billy George featured in the production alongside the A51 crew of fire performers, Rationale’s break dancers – with Simeon Kiola and Steve Bruce providing a breath-taking display of bouncy-stilts.
A special mention to Area 51 stalwart Gef White, whose incredible scripting brought the whole show to life.
Look out for more on Tiki very soon! Bosses at Area 51 hope it develops into something really special.
