DEMONS ARE A GHOUL’S BEST FRIEND

An army of demons, ghouls and fiendish freaks from Area 51 swarmed on to the streets of Birmingham's arts quarter after a portal to hell appeared to open right in the middle of the Second City. Thankfully, it wasn't the apocalyptic 'End Times' being ushered in to wreak war, famine, pestilence and disease but yet another heavy-duty Halloween street festival full of thrills and spills as thousands of revellers gathered to get loaded and have a scream of a night through the early hours at Rainbow Venues, centred on their Crane site.

An army of demons, ghouls and fiendish freaks from Area 51 swarmed on to the streets of Birmingham’s arts quarter after a portal to hell appeared to open right in the middle of the Second City.

Thankfully, it wasn’t the apocalyptic ‘End Times’ being ushered in to wreak war, famine, pestilence and disease but yet another heavy-duty Halloween street festival full of thrills and spills as thousands of revellers gathered to get loaded and have a scream of a night through the early hours at Rainbow Venues, centred on their Crane site.

A battalion of more than 30 performers were dispatched to the Digbeth area by Area 51’s high command including circus acts, dancers, walkabout characters, fire eaters, contortionists, acrobats and globally renowned specialists like the astounding Morales Sisters with their famed globe-walking routine…

As well as mingling with the huge swathes of punters, the performers shone on stage alongside one of the headline acts, The Stickmen and after midnight virtually took control with an unceasing spectacle of fire and fakir performances, dancers and much more besides at the annual bash known as The Haunting.

Area 51 decor helped set the scene for one of the UK’s largest ever Halloween parties with some eye-catching scenery and props to compliment the company’s artists.
