Globe-trotting guests at an ultra-luxury holiday destination felt the force as Darth Vader and co stormed the Maldives for a ‘Star Wars’ themed Easter entertainment extravaganza.

Area 51 created an ‘out-of-this-world’ spectacle of Maldives entertainment based on movies from the Star Wars universe that left jet-setters starry-eyed and enthralled.

The show had been delayed for a whole year due to the COVID-19 pandemic but was finally given clearance by authorities to take place with a charismatic cast of performers involved, including Britain’s Got Talent champions Boogie Storm and the in-demand Klodi, with her eye-catching mirror ball act.

Among the characters on show were Darth Vader, Han Solo, Yoda and Chewbacca; extra credit was due to the actor involved in playing the part of the latter underneath the sizzling sunshine of the tropics with its hairy costume!

A stunning new Mandalorian character costume was created for the trip by Area 51 and was a smash hit success and as well as performers, the Area 51 15-strong crew also featured renowned make-up artist Emma Fay.

Guests at the exclusive One & Only Reethi Rah destination in the Laccadive Sea area of the Maldives were treated to a series of shows and fun events over a 7 day period by the 51 crew members who had to undergo extensive checks and legal measures before being allowed to take part in the trip, including multiple COVID tests.

Area 51 also took its much-loved globot costumes to feature in the performances.
