Area 51’s legendary legion of circus have joined forces to stage a summer tribute to the “greatest showman”, P.T. Barnum to huge acclaim.

With a cast of 30 performers the glory days of Barnum’s 19th century circus was recreated at an exclusive awards ceremony in London and then again for a lush university ball where the magic of the 2017 movie, “The Greatest Showman”, was expertly brought to life in front of the audience’s eyes with high-octane displays.

Barnum was joined by a cavalcade of others including jugglers, trapeze artists, acrobats, dancers, singers, stilt-walkers and musicians – and also featured strongman and head-balancer John Evans. The idea was to create something entirely new that evoked the verve and panache of the Hollywood movie together with the realism of Barnum’s embryonic creation of “show business” as we know it today.

Initially, the show was first performed for Pallet Force at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London, before being given its second outing at the annual students’ end of term ball at Loughborough University. “Greatest Showman” is another brand new 51 circus show with fantastic production values – and is available to book now!
