Memories of sunshine doused summer days on the party island of Ibiza aren’t melting into winter obscurity thanks to the sweet success of Hed Kandi’s 2015 season which was hailed a tropical paradise.
The international clubbing sensation’s summer programme recently came to a glittering close after 17 hot weeks at the beautiful Es Paradis venue in San Antonio de Portmany where the famous beat of the Balearics was as vibrant as ever before.
And – as in previous years – Area 51 were approached to add their world-renowned expertise to the Hed Kandi experience which has deservedly earned a global reputation for the club’s on-going saga.
The 51 design team came up with a collection of elegant and sexy costumes for the club night’s tropical paradise theme together with a gorgeous birdcage and podiums and liaised closely with performers like Lovely Laura in the design of their wardrobe. The project included full costume design and production.
The 2015 theme saw Hed Kandi transform Es Paradis into a rainforest haven and usual suspects like The Lovely Laura performed live saxophone in the Area 51 designed and built cage with Tribalik adding percussion to heighten the experience.
