STILTS MAKE GREAT STRIDES AT GADGET SHOW

Area 51's revolutionary DigiLegs kicked up a storm at this year's Gadget Show Live at the NEC in Birmingham and were rated among the best products on show. The popular reverse leg stilts have revolutionised costuming and entertainment in recent times and Area 51 created a huge stir after taking a stand at the major tech event where visitors swarmed to see what all the fuss is about. And with a number of performers on hand to demonstrate just how the stilts work, to coach members of the public and illustrate the amazing effect they can produce when combined with innovative costuming, there has been a real buzz about the product.

DigiLegs have proven to be an evolutionary leap in creature design and have opened up innumerable new possibilities for the entertainment industry. When worn they transform a human’s lower limbs into the hind quarters of a digitigrade animal such as a wolf (or indeed a werewolf!) and one popular costume the stilts have become closely associated with in recent months are the Area 51 fauns, giving the appearance of a female version of a Mr. Tumnus like satyr!

The Gadget Show is a popular Channel 5 UK television show putting the spotlight on consumer technology.
