MASON HOUSE HALLOWEEN

The Argyll Street venue is a luxury nightclub that attracts celebrities and the world’s wealthy. Its unusual interior resembles a Masonic Temple and Area 51 were commissioned to design and rig a high-quality Halloween transformation for its elite guests. Sponsored by Belvedere Vodka, Area 51 were asked to incorporate their products within the scenery. The club, beneath the vaults of the London Palladium, underwent a three-day transformation by Area 51. The build incorporated a candle-lit crypt entrance that led to a witch’s closet of cauldrons, blood-stained knives and headless dolls.

THE BUILD:

The club, beneath the vaults of the London Palladium, underwent a three-day transformation by Area 51. The build incorporated a candle-lit crypt entrance that led to a witch’s closet of cauldrons, blood-stained knives and headless dolls.

THE BRIEF:

Victorian-style oak bars were decorated with guillotine blades and our specialist make-up artist transformed the 23 bar staff into executioners. Meanwhile doormen warped into aristocratic vampires and waiters morphed into Mexican Day of the Dead characters. The DJ booth was dressed to resemble a derelict church, and props included spooky trees and an assortment of classic horror artifacts. Performers mixed and mingled in costumes including Bram Stoker’s Dracula, beautiful vampire girls and a decapitated Marie Antoinette.
