THE BRIEF:
Popular with A-list celebrities, London’s Mason House Club in the vaults of the London Palladium theatre soon gained a reputation for exclusivity and elegance. The same high standards applied to their décor during the festive season, so they invited Area 51 to create a complete Christmas look for them with a touch of class.
THE BUILD:
The Area 51 team spent two days installing the opulent festive décor. Two large silver-birch fairy arches were the centrepiece of the Christmas creation. Beautiful baubles and 1.5m icicles emanated beams of festive light reflected by a large dazzling disco ball, while intricate Christmas decorations festooned the building.
The club’s VIP bar was given a complete makeover with luxurious crystal ceiling decorations, and the venue’s entrance was turned into a lavish archway with a giant Christmas wreath at its centre. Glittering feathers, silver garlands, fairy-lights and sparking floral enhancements completed the look, while seasonal floral displays peppered other areas. An impressive fully decorated traditional Christmas tree was installed as the décor’s fabulous focal point.
