Racing ahead – Area 51 sculptured 3D caricature heads for Formula 1 drivers Max Verstappen, Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Riccardo and Valtteri Bottas. In the vast crowded venues of F1, create a range of eye-catching, identifiable caricatures who will stand out and be greeted rapturously wherever the F1 races are held. Initially we designed and built heads for the four-times World Champion, Lewis Hamilton and his Finnish rival Kimi Räikkönen for the British Grand Prix 2017, we went on to create the whole field of drivers for 2018 – including Sebastien Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen.
THE BUILD:
Crafted in clay then dense foam from original pen caricatures by Area 51 chief Matt Page, the wearable heads also have a soft foam inner lining for comfort and come complete with branded replica race suits. The continually increasing series of larger-than-life characters are now seen worldwide as part of the F1 roadshow. We can also add an inner mic and voice box, if required for interviews.
You do not have to be a F1 driver to join the big-head hall of fame. We’ve made them for Scisssor Sisters and Jax Jones, among others. Commissions are welcome to give your company’s key characters a head start over the competition.
