RINGMASTERS

Roll up! Roll up!

From traditional Victorian style through steampunk and in to the darker and more twisted outer orbit of the ringmaster universe, Area 51 has got the lot!

Often casting one of two brilliant, multi-skilled MCs in the shape of Luke D’Silva or Adam Colclough, 51 have a global reputation for providing state of the art circus entertainment and have worked alongside the greats of the industry over a long period of time.

From Zippo’s Cirque Berserk, staged annually in London’s Hyde Park, to the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai, major A-list celeb resorts in the Maldives and from the stages at the Glastonbury Festival, Area 51 ringmasters have wowed audiences with their hilarious hyperbole and performance skills, while their wide experience lend them to being perfect hosts.

Area 51 have designed, built and produced their own stunning circus shows, winning huge plaudits and enhancing their standing within the art form.

All ringmasters come fully equipped with meticulously-designed and hand-made costuming, together with props to bring all the fun of the fair. They can also be provided with scripts.

NB: We are always happy to hear from clients who wish us to design brand new, bespoke costumes for these characters.

STEAMPUNKS

STEAMPUNKS All hail the Steam Punks - that beautiful sub-genre where olde worlde meets sci-fi, the pre-Victorian take on futuristic if you like; Sci-Fi in an H.G. Wells' style. We’ve numerous twists on the Steam Punk genre – and have even created full scale circuses in its honour. There are lots of moving mechanical gizmos - of course – and we suggest you check out the fully operational wings (not that we’d recommend jumping off a pier, old chap). With their bowler hats and tailcoats combined with an arsenal of exotic weaponry and gadgetry, there’s a whole army of Steampunk'd characters to fit fantastically into many themes - both male and female characters on stilts (or off!) plus their trusty sidekicks, the steampunk chimps! And don’t forget Steam Pug – he gets a whole page to himself!
