LONG ARMS

Like something staggering in from a surrealist’s worst nightmare, these long-arm weirdos are almost impossible to categorise.  A walking art installation?

These monsters come with red Pinstripe or black buckle-up suits, extra-long arms equipped with massively clawing hands and a tortured, twisted head.

Probably not suited to your average kid`s birthday party as they`re bound to disturb, these oddball characters have a funny and freaky, walkabout style that’s been brilliantly received at festivals and in clubs that are looking for something a bit more, er, thought-provoking.

FLESH ZOMBIES

FLESH ZOMBIES Perhaps the most gruesome costumes we’ve ever built, the Flesh Zombies feature fully sculpted, head-to-toe latex bodysuits depicting human bodies with most of the skin pulled off. The costumes show muscle and sinew with small lumps of skin and hair hanging here and there. The Flesh Zombies are excellent as a walkabout act and also excel as human statues at Horror themed events – standing perfectly still on a plinth and then jumping off and chasing after people when they pass. Expect screams a-plenty! Clad in specially commissioned armour, featuring the very latest in skin replication techniques and fully armed to the teeth, the Area 51 Troll is one bad-ass creature. He features a remote-control moving head, blinking eyes, a frowning forehead and moving lips that are synched up to the performer's headset microphone to give the troll a big booming voice. OSTRICH RIDERS

OSTRICH RIDERS Area 51’s giant ostriches are among our longest established and most popular characters, and for good reason. The sight of the world’s largest avian strolling around, with talkative safari explorer at the reigns, provides an unbeatable comedy moment. A festival regular, this curious pair has also delighted crowds at a range of other events, from weddings to zoo events, clubs to corporate dos - it seems its popularity has not yet peaked… Alternative riders available include our "TIKI" costumed characters, snow explorers, elves, or even chimps, or Jockeys, making them extremely easy to have adapt to any theme. DUCKS

DUCKS Waddle catch the eye and fit the bill for any event that needs something special? In one foul swoop this eye-catching gaggle can provide an ‘inducktion’ into beak-performance art! This fluffy flock can rival Donald, Daffy, Huey, Dewey and Louie, Daphne, Daisy, Count Duckula, Scrooge and Orville and keep their feathers well-oiled for a variety of uses. There are a number of ducks available and they’re perfect for avant garde walkabouts, flash mob PR stunts (they can turn up anywhere and hassle people for bread or, if you prefer, just simply go quackers) and can also do bizarre stage dance routines. For club stage shows the ducks can even launch giant “golden egg” balloons into the audience for “egg-stra” fun factor (sorry!).
