The Area 51 production of ‘Alpine Nights’ is the ultimate après-ski experience: ice cool and an off-piste elegance with first class entertainment.

The creative team at the Warwickshire company transformed the interior of Coventry’s Ricoh Arena into a welcoming fantasy ski resort with log cabins serving festive drinks and glamorous bespoke-designed decor to transport guests into the heart of an Alpine world.

The Ricoh event consisted of a five-night run of corporate Christmas parties with Area 51 once again unleashing its creative designers, installation wizards and tip-top performers to come up with the goods.

Star of the actual show was the international BMX star Jack Clarke who provided spectacular stunts and routines on a lengthy ramped staging area to the delight of the huge audiences watching. Also featured in the show were a number of outstanding roller-bladers who were imitating roller skaters to maintain the snow-and-ice theme of the event.

Dancers performed a number of ice and snow-themed routines while aerial silk acts and fire breathers were also involved along with a live band and DJ, providing a full night of all-round entertainment.

Area 51 are now aiming to present this new show at different events throughout the year, fine tuning it and making adjustments – where necessary – to adapt to each new location and event.
