AREA 51 performers are springing into spring with a bunny-spinner event in the British countryside that will take visitors to a manor house into a nouveau Wonderland at Easter.

Ticket sales are rocketing for a stunning new immersive walk-through show that opens in April 2022 at Whatton House in the Charnwood Forest based on Lewis Carroll’s surreal classic, “Alice In Wonderland.”

Following hot on the heels of the massive success of “A Winter’s Trail” in which the company’s brilliant combination of stage set scenery and brilliant acting performances captivated Christmas audiences at the same location, the spring show promises to be equally stunning and is suitable for all ages.

Unlike the Christmas experience which was held in the dark and told the story of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” the new walk-through experience – “Easter In Wonderland” – is staged in daylight so visitors can also enjoy the blooming spectacle of Whatton House’s acclaimed English gardens.

Joining Alice on her magical trip through the stunning gardens, visitors get to meet many of the anthropomorphic characters such as the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts and others and take part in a number of activities before arriving in time – we hope – to witness the Mad Hatter’s circus under a giant oak tree.

Guests begin their journey by entering through the rabbit hole into a mesmeric dreamland world where the curious becomes curiouser and the fun becomes funnier.

It promises to be a brilliant fun-filled experience for the whole family and some tickets are still left for the event which runs across six days in early April.
