DYNAMO JOINS AREA51 AT ATLANTIS HOTEL

Award-winning magician Dynamo teamed up with Area 51 to launch its tribal-themed Tiki circus show in Dubai at one of the biggest celebrity events.

The world-renowned star of TV and stage was the figurehead for the spectacular event performed at the Ahlan Ball.

After a riotously successful performance of Somnambu at Dubai’s World-famous Atlantis Hotel the previous year, the Area 51 think-tank had to serve up something really special to follow it and so was born Tiki, a brand-new circus devised, produced and directed by Area 51’s Matt Page. It seemed like the perfect place to try out the new presentation.

The Ahlan ball is one of the biggest nights on the Middle East’s celebrity calendar and demanded something special. Red carpet glamour together with exquisite dining provided the perfect backdrop – and Area 51 pulled off a great coup by teaming up with magician, Dynamo, real-name Steven Frayne.

The Tiki show is a Polynesian–flavoured voyage of discovery, with incredibly detailed costume, fabulous make-up by the incredibly talented Emma Fay, a powerful drum-driven soundtrack and topped with tribal themed contemporary performance.

Cyr Wheel artist and fellow Britain’s Got Talent finalist Billy George featured in the production alongside an A51 crew of fire performers together with Rationale’s break dancers while Simeon Kiola and Steve Bruce provided a breath-taking display of bouncy-stilts.
