Area 51 were summoned to give a world class hotel relaunch a stunning leg up in the United States in time for the summer solstice.
And when a world-class resort unveils a $500 million transformation, expectations are high but standing out from the crowd takes more than A-list celebrities, champagne and speeches. Sometimes it takes performers who quite literally give the occasion legs.
That was precisely the case when Area 51 were invited to contribute to the relaunch celebrations at Nemacolin Resort in Pennsylvania where imagination, elegance and just a hint of mythological mischief helped elevate the midsummer gathering into something unforgettable.
Bringing their distinctive visual flair across the Atlantic, the company supplied performers equipped with their signature Digileg technology – proving that when it comes to high-end experiential events, Area 51 doesn’t just step up… they redefine the stride entirely.
The resort at Farmington in the south-western corner of the American commonwealth, carried out a lavish refurbishment of its Chateau Hotel on site and its relaunch was hosted by American TV giant Jimmy Fallon and featured a live performance by Lady GaGa, giving renditions of “La Vie en Rose”, “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love” and a number of her hits.
Other A-listers who attended, included Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly, Adrien Brody, Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka, Marisa Tomei, Nicole Ari Parker, Hamish Linklater and Georgina Chapman and the event climaxed with Nick Cannon performing a memorable DJ set under the solstice moon.
