AZTEC RAVE OF THE ANCIENTS

When the ancient past collides with the pulse of modern life, Area 51 is on hand to bring it all to life.

The event alchemists supplied atmospheric performers to help transform a former Victorian railway station into a living, breathing antediluvian world at the immersive “Aztech” club night staged by BREACH.

Designed as a journey into a lost civilisation, the event at Kachette in London combined floor-to-ceiling set design, projection visuals and cutting edge electronic music – with performers moving through the crowd to complete the illusion. Area 51’s performers blended seamlessly into this Aztec-themed environment created at the former Shoreditch Railway Station.

Interacting with guests, the performers added a human and theatrical edge to the otherwise high-tech presentation and as Area 51 have expertise in costume creation, make up and excellent performance skills with a tribal, Aztec vibe, this was a collaboration steeped in majesty, magic and maturation.

The result was a fully immersive clubbing experience where history, mythology and modern dance culture sideswiped – proving once again that Area 51 knows exactly how to animate a theme and elevate the energy out on the floor..
