LOST IN SPACE, FOUND IN DORSET!

Igor Rasputin's celebrated Caravan Of Lost Souls became "Lost In Space" as it took centre stage at Europe's primary festival for children and young people! The caravan's usual repertoire of twisted circus performance delights was tweaked to make it more child-friendly as well as incorporating the sci-fi atmosphere of the 2016 camp. Among those performers lost in space and found in Dorset were The Mighty Gareth whose job of leading the team was brilliantly successful.

Igor Rasputin’s celebrated Caravan Of Lost Souls became “Lost In Space” as it took centre stage at Europe’s primary festival for children and young people!

The caravan’s usual repertoire of twisted circus performance delights was tweaked to make it more child-friendly as well as incorporating the sci-fi atmosphere of the 2016 camp.

Among those performers lost in space and found in Dorset were The Mighty Gareth whose job of leading the team was brilliantly successful.

He was joined by Bill Brookman and his assistant Madeline, Danish performer Mikkel Buda Svak of Quirk, magician Sav and Amy Hooplovin Guernier.

The annual family-friendly festival was once again staged in the grounds of Lulworth Castle near East Lulworth in Dorset and has won many awards. basically, the little sister of Bestival (which is held on the Isle of Wight), it is organised by Rob da Bank and featured a gargantuan serving of entertainment including Area 51’s crew.

This year’s theme for Camp Festival was space and Area 51’s recently commissioned alien costumes were perfect to be unleashed on the public

Thirty Area 51 performers starred on the Shady Lady priate stage as well as taking the spotlight on the epic carnival parades.
