Tomb of Terror

An Egyptian themed Halloween adventure installation commissioned by the Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai.

Built in the UK, then shipped and erected on site, this was a fully interactive, Egyptian themed horror experience.

Manned by a small team of performers & technicians, it ran daily for two weeks in October 2008 and gained positive write ups in the local press and Time Out magazine.

Paying members of the public were led through a time travel illusion consisting of revolving chambers, smoke and strobe effects, into a fully decorated pharoh's tomb with hieroglyphs, sphinxes further lighting effects and magically appearing costumed actors. All was set to a specially written soundtrack.
