The magical make-over of Jonathan Ross' mansion in north London is a consistently huge hit with the A-list celebrity guest list as well as thousands of the public who flock along to what is now viewed as one of THE celebrity events of the year in Britain.
Each Halloween over the past few years TV chat show host and radio presenter Ross has collaborated with Area 51 to come up with a different themed spook-tacular set of props and entertainment for his creepy events.
Area 51's design team initially supply the star with a set of drawings and then scenery and props are manufactured in-house at the firm's extensive workshop facility in Warwickshire after agreement is reached on what is required.
The actual metamorphosis of Ross' mansion is usually a full-day build that begins before dawn with a weighted scaffolding structure on telescopic poles with scenery attached to it being sited directly in front of the building's facia.
The structure features UV-reactive frames festooned with decorative Halloween themed décor together with ultraviolet lighting and a large CO2 jet system plus a series of other special effects.
Add on top of this the ever expanding array of Area 51 entertainers and performance artists and the end result is simply phantom-tastic!
