Area 51 is involved in its third and most historic collaboration with Zippo Circus for the ground-breaking production of Cirque Berserk, featured as part of Winter Wonderland at London's Hyde Park.

The show is booked in for a six week run between the 22nd November 2012 and 6th January 2013 which will see the troupe perform up to three times a night for the duration.

Our very own Director in Chief Matt Page has been selected as creative director for the high profile show and is currently working alongside Zippo's top man, Martin Burton.

The respected creative duo return this year with a brand new show which follows a beautiful gothic storyteller and her extraordinary travelling band of fairy-tale freaks.

Featuring some of the World's most exceptional circus artistes, including acrobats, a crazy high wire act and the gravity defying Globe of Death will merge to perform in this breathtaking fantasy world that has featured at the Hyde Park venue under various guises since its synthesis three years ago.

The show takes its inspiration from the dark and twisted fairy tales from the Brother's Grimm. The imagery derived from the books has provided the basis in designing the twisted legendary fantasy world.

The focal point for this years show features the bizarre and wonderful Caravan of Lost Souls, who will be rolling in from travelling the realms of eternal night and will be joined by their new ring leader, the beautiful gothic mistress brought in for a one off special run at the expense of the Prussian exile, Igor Rasputin.

A caravan it may seem to the untrained eye, but low and behold, it is the portal to a multi-dimensional vortex dream world in which these fairytale nightmares will be portrayed.

We have been held from delving too much information, the rest you will have to find out for yourself!
