For well over a decade Area 51 has been involved at The Big Reunion, the UK's biggest indoor, winter music festival with 12,000 people hitting the Skegness Butlin's Resort over two weekends in November.
Four stages offer an eclectic mix of dance, d'n'b, hip hop and Indy Rock from the new way back to the old school. Acts included DJ Fresh, Chase and Status, Katy B, Sub Focus and Mista Jam.
The crew opened proceedings in the warm up arena with a mesmerising new show - our Voodoo army of fire breathing, break-dancing Zombies spat flames into the air whilst other members of the tribe banged the drums of disco warfare.
It is a legendary weekend of full-blown ballistic missile action and totally not for the faint hearted. Unbelievable scenes were witnessed throughout but we all know the saying, what happens on tour, stays on tour! The after-parties were notorious as ever, even DJ Fresh joined the festivities with the biggest bottle of Jack Daniels we've ever seen!
All that aside, the crew pulled off one of the most insane variety performances of the year. A full quota of Globots, plus Illuminatus and awe-inspiring Transformer robots were part of our cast of 50. A surprise appearance from the outrageous Keith Lemon also featured.
But the award for the most absurd performances go the aquatic flightless birds from Antarctica coupled with the closest living relative to the human being, the penguins and gentleman chimps - show-stealers as always - closing off the show with their insane animal antics.
A great way to re-visit the summer vibes and warm up for winter. If you haven't already, get booking for next year and witness the fitness!
