51 FIRE BRIGADE IN BONFIRE BONANZA

Area 51 despatched its own "fire brigade" to help make an annual fireworks display a huge success.

The team of fire and stilt performers, together with the popular ten foot tall 51 Qetz character, burst on to the stage to wow thousands of onlookers at the annual Bonfire Night display held at Rugby in central England, co-ordinating their acts with a prime panorama of pyrotechny that left punters purring.

Sporting Area 51's much-loved Tiki tribe costuming, the crew took part in a walkabout session before darkness descended and then took to the stage for the main event with a choreographed show that linked into the impressive fireworks display that painted the night sky in vivid colours helping to make the event one of its most successful in its 59-year history.

The event is organised annually by Rugby Round Table and helps raise money for local charities and good causes. The 2015 event featured live gigs by three bands plus a DJ spot from Rugby FM presenter Jason Moss before the finale in which the Area 51 crew's visually stunning  routines accompanied the fireworks display.
