MODELS FASHION MCQUEEN MAGIC AT MUSEUM

Area 51 helped transform London's Victoria and Albert Museum into a cutting edge fashion show inspired by the legendary Alexander McQueen as part of a prestigious event for one of the world's biggest professional services companies.

A 14-strong crack team from Area 51 conjured up a stunning spectacle at a gala dinner and dance at the museum in central London with eye catching aplomb.

Six models, two make up artists, two hair stylists and a further stylist, a nail artist, photographer and two assistants made up the team which worked alongside Events Concept inside the world's largest museum of decorative arts and design at Brompton.

Creating a series of stunning looks including elaborate head wear with the assistance of florists Veever and Carter, the catwalk show was hailed a resounding success with the models working in a tightly disciplined series of routines that required precision timing.

The event was inspired by the Alexander McQueen "Savage Beauty" exhibition at the V&A which runs until August. Area 51 managed the creative aspects for Event Concept and the images are courtesy of Miranda Parry Photography.

Area 51's team featured Anna-Marie Trzebinski (event manager and stylist), Kelly Odell and Michelle Court (specialist make up and body artists), Louise and Gem from The Fringe Art Team (hair stylists), Connie Cheesewright (nail art), Dawn Bryant (assistant) and Jasmine Kops (backstage photography) while the featured models were Natasha Trzebinski, Gabby Forrett, Amy Kate, Charlotte Atkinson, Olivia Harriet and Mulan Itoje.
