The high-fliers were left feeling like they were floating after the ExCel Conference Centre was given a stunning transformation for the massive international recruitment event staged by the social networking giant, LinkedIn.
Area 51 turned a massive events room at the famous conference centre into a lofty land above the clouds. Stunning décor and props combined brilliantly at Talent Connect London 2015 as more than 1,500 visitors jetted in from all over the world to attend.
Having successfully designed and decorated past LinkedIn events, the challenge for Area 51 has been to raise the bar year on year, and the 2015 project won many plaudits from those attending.
A package of décor, props and performers was bolstered further by the intelligent incorporation of functionality. Delegates attending the conference were delighted to find Area 51 had discreetly sited USB and mains charging points into wi-fi enabled seating areas so smart phones and tablets could be used with ease.
The engrossing décor included a hot air balloon, staircases, an in-lounge room, a TV studio and a "sky gym" as well as landscaped gardening areas. As in previous years, it was a huge project that took several months of design and planning stages while the installation was an exhausting 72-hour job carried out by a 60+crew ahead of the two-day conference.
Talent Connect London is Europe's largest ever corporate recruitment event. Those attending were entertained and kept well fed and watered with a series of coffee bars and catering outlets that were incorporated into the installation.
