HAMILTON NOT ACADEMICAL AS 51'S FORMULA WON!

Some may argue that Formula 1's jet-setting multi-millionaire A-list celebs don't need to have bigger heads to match their huge success, public profile and earnings but the creative boffins at Area 51's culture bunker have gone and done just that!

Designed from original caricature drawings by 51 chief Matt Page, a series of impressive big-head character costumes are being seen all over the world as part of the touring circus that is the global F1 roadshow as it travels to all parts of the world.

And the eye-catching designs have been greeted rapturously at Fanzones wherever the Formula 1 races have been held since the British Grand Prix staged at Silverstone back in the summer of 2017.

Initially, the Area 51 team designed and built the "big-heads" for the recently crowned four-times World Champion, Lewis Hamilton and his Finnish rival Kimi Raikkonen in time for the Silverstone meeting in July 2017. Shortly after they added Valttteri Botas, Sebastian Vettel, Max Verstappen and Daniel Riccardo.

Since that time the driver caricatures have rocked up at circuits including the Hungaroring in Budapest, Spa in Belgium, Monza in Italy, the Marina Bay street circuit in Singapore, Sepang at Kuala Lumpur, Suzuka in Japan, the Circuit of The Americas at Austin, Texas in the USA, the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City and most recently at the Autudromo Jose Carlos Pace in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

They will travel to the final race on the F1 calendar for 2017 at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi when the season ends on Novermber 26.

Nex year Area 51 are planning to add further Formula 1 personalities to the collection for the 2018 season which begins on March 25 in Melbourne, Australia.
