The caravan was the centre piece of the so-called 'Cirque du Spiceal', a twisted urban circus that stunned shoppers in Birmingham city centre earlier this yeas as part of a week-long promotion in conjunction with Kerrang Radio.
And the show won a prestigious accolade at the 2012 Bauer Radio Awards when picking up up the 'Local Sales Pitch Of The Year' honour.
To scoop the title the Kerrang team beat off fierce competition from a number of other radio stations and performances at events staged throughout the UK.
The Cirque du Spiceal show, fronted by the Caravan of Lost Souls, was a week-long outdoors show held at Spiceal Street near the famous Bull Ring shopping centre in Britain's second city.
Kerrang Radio's breakfast team broadcast live from the event across the UK to 1.3 million listeners and officials from both the Bull Ring and the radio station were delighted with news of the award victory.
A spokesman for Kerrang! said: "The team at Area 51 were amazing!
"They listened to our brief and created a series of events that exceeded our expectations...just awesome!"
