Work is underway on creating an army of over-sized snowmen for a stunning Winter Wonderland theme at Tamworth's award-winning Snowdome complex in time for Christmas.
It's all hands to the pump for Area 51's design and technical staff who are creating a large number of items to be placed inside the special holiday-themed attraction which runs from November 25 until December 31 at the building in the Staffordshire market town.
Some of the items being created are giant sweets to vbe placed in a Gingerbread House as part of the display. The Area 51 team is busily building a wide selection of eye-catching pieces of scenery in time for this ever popular show.
As in previous years Area 51 have been called upon to assist with the Snowdome at the busiest time of the year and for Christmas 2011 the Tamworth leisure facility is creating 'Santa's Winter Wonderland' mixing real snow and ice fun with real animals and an all-new show which includes the much loved characters Zippy and George from legendary kids TV show 'Rainbow.'
The snowdome's popular Christmas attraction also features real reindeer.
