Dancers, stilt-walkers, interactive characters and inumerable other performance artists were on hand to wow punters at the mammoth event staged across five stages inside the Butlins holiday camp at the Lincolnshire resort on the North Sea coastline over two wild weekends.
And their spectacular stage shows and walkabout routines wowed thousands of revellers packed into the Butlins complex to enjoy a feast of dance music supplied by world name DJs and live acts. The Area 51 CO2 show went down a storm in particular.
Among the name acts taking part were The Streets, Judge Jules, Lethal Bizzle, Tim Westwood, Chipmunk, Wretch 32, Labrinth, Ms. Dynamite, DJ Fresh, Pendulum, Ironik and much, much more.
Two frantic consecutive weekends of high octane partying once again re-established the event as one of the biggest winter festivals in the UK and started the countdown to the Christmas party season in true style.
The Streets performed their final gigs while Radio 1 legend Judge Jules took to the decks to deliver a delectable and dynamite diet of dance-floor detonating delicasies....
Among the Area 51 characters performing were globots, Illuminatus, Girl Banned, the Killer Klowns, giant lego man and also a raft of new big heads including Freddie Mercury and Adam Ant
